Diyas (Candleholders)

Each diya (candleholder) is metlicuously made through the following steps. First, the artisan will create a precise hole in the marble for the brass dish that will ultimately hold your tealight. Then, the artisan will use a Makita Diamond Blade to cut the marble in various designs. After the marble is cut to perfection, the artisans will sand each crevice of the diya — first, with a machine, then by hand, to ensure that the marble is smooth while retaining its natural white glow. Finally, the artisan will use an adhesive to secure the brass dish into the diya.
